  • 1 cup active sourdough starter
  • 3½ cups bread flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 egg for wash

Instructions

  1. Mix starter, milk, and 2 cups flour
  2. Cover and ferment 4 hours
  3. Add remaining ingredients
  4. Knead until smooth
  5. Shape into 12 rolls
  6. Rise until doubled
  7. Brush with egg wash
  8. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes
