  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Filling: 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • ⅓ cup butter

Instructions

  1. Mix starter, milk, sugar, and 2 cups flour
  2. Let rest 30 minutes
  3. Add remaining ingredients, knead until smooth
  4. Rise 4-6 hours or overnight
  5. Roll out dough, spread filling
  6. Roll up, cut into 12 pieces
  7. Second rise 2-3 hours
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes
  9. Top with cream cheese frosting
