A decadent dessert featuring layers of pistachio cream, toasted kataifi pastry, and premium chocolate with a luxurious green and gold finish.

  • 1 cup kataifi pastry, shredded and separated
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup pistachio cream
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 16 ounces premium Belgian milk chocolate
  • Edible gold luster dust
  • Green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toast kataifi pastry on a baking sheet after coating with melted butter until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Melt the milk chocolate using a double boiler or microwave. Optionally, temper the chocolate for a glossy finish.
  4. Prepare molds with a thin layer of melted chocolate and chill until slightly set.
  5. Mix toasted kataifi, pistachio cream, tahini, and chopped pistachios for the filling.
  6. Add a layer of the filling over the set chocolate base.
  7. Sprinkle toasted kataifi over the filling and press gently.
  8. Top with a final layer of melted chocolate, smooth, and chill until fully set.
  9. Decorate with green-tinted chocolate and edible gold luster dust for an elegant finish.
