  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 1 pound fresh crab meat
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the crab meat and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  9. Serve with fresh parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
