  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels to remove moisture.
  3. Coat the chicken with olive oil and lemon juice.
  4. Mix smoked paprika, chili flakes, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Season the chicken legs evenly with the spice mix.
  6. Place the chicken on a wire rack set over a baking sheet lined with foil.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, rotating the tray halfway through.
  8. Increase the oven temperature to 430°F (220°C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes for crispy skin.
